Welsh Classical Guitarist Oliver Manning leads a busy career as a solo concert artist in high demand.
In 2025, Oliver graduated from the Royal College of Music London, with a master’s degree in classical guitar under Gary Ryan & Chris Stell. In 2023, Oliver was selected by John Williams to become a Julian Bream Trust Scholar, supporting his postgraduate studies in London. His studies were also supported by the BBC and Help Musicians. Oliver launched his career with an international solo debut in Italy for the William Walton Foundation, alongside recitals at the Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, Dora Stoutzker Hall, Budleigh Music Festival, Bath Guitar Festival, and Centro Civico, Granada.
The Julian Bream Trust
Oliver was recently awarded a prestigious scholarship by John Williams on behalf of The Julian Bream Trust for his postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music.

London College of Music Examinations Composition
Oliver’s original composition “The Gondolier’s Dream” has been published in the London College of Music’s classical guitar grade 1 handbook. This makes Oliver LCME’s youngest modern composer for their classical guitar exam syllabus.
